Through a strong commitment to the team, product excellence, and high-level collaboration across the organization, you will win new business, grow existing accounts, and consistently meet or exceed established sales metrics. While primarily focused on outside sales, this role also supports order fulfillment at the Springfield, OR branch, including inventory accuracy and shipping and receiving, to ensure the representative's own customer orders are filled and delivered accurately and on time. This is an exempt role. Starting compensation includes a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission opportunities. The compensation range listed in this posting reflects the anticipated total starting compensation (base salary plus estimated commissions) for a successful performer in the role. General Trailer Parts Branch Sales Reps report to the General Manager. Duties Serve as the primary outside sales representative for an assigned territory, customarily and regularly meeting customers in person at their places of business to win new accounts and grow existing ones. Build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships throughout the assigned territory through in-person sales calls and on-site engagement. Strategically negotiate with prospective and existing customers to close sales and drive territory revenue. Research competitor products, pricing, and market conditions to inform and strengthen the employee's own sales strategy. Accurately enter and maintain the employee's own leads, customer accounts, quotes, and sales activity in Karmak and other company-provided systems, using Microsoft Office for related communication and reporting. In direct support of the employee's own sales volume, coordinate order fulfillment at the Springfield, OR branch; this includes inventory accuracy and shipping/receiving to ensure the employee's customer orders are filled accurately and delivered on time. Provide responsive service and support to customers before and after the sale, whether in the field or at the branch. Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Three (3) or more years of sales experience required. Valid driver's license and ability to be covered under the company's vehicle insurance policy required. Proficiency with standard business software and the ability to learn company sales and inventory systems, required. Preferred Qualifications Trailer, trailer parts, or related-industry sales experience (e.g., heavy equipment, truck, automotive, or industrial parts). Experience with shipping/receiving and inventory coordination. Prior experience with point-of-sale and inventory management systems.
