) seeks a Grocery Retail Sales Representative to support foodservice professionals, small businesses, and home chefs in a high-volume, warehouse-style store. In this role, you'll engage customers on the sales floor, recommend bulk grocery, fresh, and restaurant supply products, and promote in-store programs. Responsibilities include stocking and rotating inventory, setting merchandising displays, keeping aisles clean and safe, operating POS systems, processing large orders, and assisting with basic inventory counts. You'll work closely with a team in a fast-paced, physically active environment with growth potential into supervisory or merchandising roles. Responsibilities Engage customers to understand needs and recommend appropriate grocery and foodservice products Drive in-store sales by promoting bulk items, specials, and store programs Operate POS systems to process transactions, returns, and large orders accurately Stock, rotate, and replenish shelves, coolers, and displays according to merchandising standards Assist with inventory counts, labeling, and backroom organization Maintain a clean, safe, and organized sales floor and warehouse environment Support order picking and staging for business and foodservice customers Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet store sales and service goals Provide product information and basic menu or usage suggestions to foodservice customers Adhere to food safety, cash handling, and company operational procedures Required Skills Retail sales Point-of-sale (POS) systems Inventory management Merchandising and planograms Foodservice product knowledge Customer relationship management Cash handling & reconciliation Order fulfillment and stocking Warehouse equipment operation (pallet jacks, carts) Basic data entry and reporting
