A Sales Specialist will assist our customers and potential customers through email, phone and in the showroom to sell fireplace products and outdoor lifestyle products. This role requires a deep understanding of our products and services, excellent communication skills, and the ability to tailor sales strategies to different customer needs. The sales specialist is responsible for collecting payment on all invoices and addressing any follow-up questions and/or concerns of the customer. Performed:
Helping customers on the phone, through email and in the showroom with every aspect of our business to sell product. This includes before, throughout and after the sale. Creating and maintaining personal sales goals and maintaining stated goals set by your Sales Manager. Updating your CRM follow-up system through SharePoint. Keeping the showroom clean, merchandised and appropriately priced. Showroom cleaning includes inside and outside the building and maintain bathroom cleanliness.
Hours:
Our showrooms are open Tuesday-Friday 10-6, and Saturday 10-4. Weekly sales meetings are held on Saturday mornings before opening. Sales specialists' specific hours will be set by their sales manager.
Attire:
Staff shirts are provided and business casual is acceptable. Always wear shoes and socks (open toed sandals are not acceptable). Shorts and jeans are acceptable as long as they are clean, neat, not faded, and have no ripped holes. Required Skills, Physical & Mental requirements: Basic understanding of construction principles is necessary in order to plan installation of hearth products. To perform the job properly, a thorough understanding of hearth products in necessary, and it is expected that the Sales Specialists will be a student to learn the procedures. Sales Specialists will be on their feet often while assisting customers in the showroom, sometimes the entire day. In addition, moving displays in the showroom and loading products for customers is also required. Several months of the year are extremely busy and the work environment is fast placed and somewhat stressful. Other months are slower and require self-management.
