Job Description

Position Overview:
OneMonroe is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Representative to join our team. The position requires strong self-discipline and a high level of self-motivation. This role is critical in ensuring excellent customer experience by assisting clients with inquiries, processing orders, resolving issues, and providing product information. As the first point of contact for our customers, the ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced wholesale manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Cold Calling:
Responsible for making outbound calls to potential customers to introduce products, generate interest, and qualify leads.
Sales:
Actively generating new leads, preparing accurate quotes for potential clients, and consistently driving sales opportunities to meet or exceed targets.
Customer Support:
Handle in-bound inquiries via phone, email, or chat, addressing customer questions, concerns, and product-related inquiries.
Order Processing:
Accurately enter and process customer orders, verify product availability, and ensure timely delivery.
Problem Resolution:
Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly, escalating complex cases to appropriate departments when necessary.
Product Knowledge:
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's products and services to provide accurate information and recommendations.
Account Management:
Assist with managing customer accounts, updating contact information, and monitoring order history.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the sales, shipping, and production teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve logistical or order-related challenges.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and feedback using CRM or internal systems.
Proactive Outreach:
Follow up on pending orders, shipping delays, or back-ordered items, providing regular updates to customers.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree preferred). Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a wholesale, manufacturing, or distribution environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in using CRM systems, order processing software, or similar tools. Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and a positive attitude. Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing customer needs. Familiarity with manufacturing or wholesale processes is a plus. Able to communicate confidently and professionally with buyers and decision-makers Strong follow-through, attention to detail, and the ability to convert prospects into customers are essential.
