Job Description

Job Summary Liberty Tree & Landscape Management is seeking a knowledgeable, professional, and personable Consulting Arborist / Tree & Landscape Sales Representative to serve as the primary liaison between our residential and commercial clients and our production teams. This is a consultative role that requires advanced arboricultural expertise. The successful candidate will assess tree and landscape health, evaluate structural risk, and prescribe technically sound solutions that enhance safety, longevity, and the beauty of the local urban forest. You will manage projects from initial consultation through successful completion, representing the company as a trusted advisor in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation & Tree / Landscape Assessment Conduct comprehensive on-site evaluations of tree and landscape health, structural integrity, and site conditions Identify pests, diseases, decay, soil issues, and biomechanical defects, and provide professional recommendations Estimating & Proposal Development Prepare accurate digital estimates and detailed scopes of work for tree pruning, removals, cabling/bracing, and Plant Health Care (PHC) services Develop professional proposals that clearly communicate scope, value, safety considerations, and recommended treatments Project Coordination & Quality Assurance Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and production crews to ensure work is executed according to proposal specifications and industry best practices Verify that completed work meets company quality standards and client expectations Relationship Management & Business Development Establish and maintain long-term relationships with homeowners, HOAs, property managers, and commercial clients Foster repeat and referral business through professionalism, technical expertise, and consistent follow-through Safety, Standards & Regulatory Compliance Ensure all proposed and completed work complies with
ANSI A300
pruning standards , ANSI Z133 safety standards , and all applicable local and environmental regulations Qualifications & Experience Arboricultural & Landscape Expertise Strong working knowledge of tree biology, pathology, structural pruning, tree risk mitigation, and landscape health ISA Certified Arborist credential strongly preferred (or ability to obtain within 6 months) Industry Experience 2-5+ years of professional experience in tree care, arboriculture, or landscape management Previous climbing, crew leader, foreman, or production experience is a significant asset Communication & Professionalism Ability to translate complex arboricultural and landscape concepts into clear, value-driven recommendations Confident, professional communication style with clients and internal teams Professional Requirements Self-motivated with the ability to manage a field-based schedule and client portfolio independently Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record Professional appearance and strong representation of the company in the community Why Join Liberty Tree & Landscape Management Join a respected, safety-driven arboricultural and landscape management company Deliver ethical, standards-based tree and landscape care solutions Access long-term professional growth opportunities within a collaborative, technical team environment How to Apply Apply through Indeed by submitting your resume outlining relevant arboricultural and landscape experience, certifications, and industry background.
