Full-time Description:

The primary role of this employee is to work for the Industrial Sales Department and Sr. Vice President of Industrial Sales and support the day-to-day operations of the department, provide excellent customer service, and support day to day order processing support and customer shipment documentation, as well as handle inside sales and customer service duties for our Mining Spare Parts Sales and our Phillips Group. (Typically 50% Industrial, 30% Mining and 20% Phillips)

Responsibilities:

Report to (and be trained by) Sr. Vice President of Industrial Sales, and our VP of Engineering for Mining Spare Parts, with the goal of developing an overall understanding of all core product lines and becoming an integral part of the sales team by providing a first class customer service experience for existing and new customers. You must be able to function as a reliable part of a team and communicate between various internal departments as well as customers, and be willing to contribute to our success by accomplishing related results as needed.

Functions:

Candidate will be trained to, and must be capable of the following job functions Interacting with customers and handling customer queries, delivery update requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner Determine the quickest, most effective ways to answer a client's questions Support SVP of Industrial Sales with order processing / activities (setting up new customer accounts, preparing orders for data entry) Support customers with preparation of order related documentation packages Provide Tier 1 customers with weekly order update reports Facilitate communication between customers and sales/engineering/shipping & receiving, etc., as needed. Learn to assist in handling incoming sales calls and inquiries Learn to identify customer's needs and sales opportunities during incoming calls, and offer solutions and support Learn "catalog standard" product lines and be able to articulate to customers Following up on leads from sales campaigns, conferences, tradeshows, etc. Provide inside sales & logistical support to the SVP Industrial Sales when SVP is traveling Provide product and service information to new and existing customers Work with purchasing, production and vendor base to expedite items critical to on-time completion of projects

Skills:

Employee must possess the following skills and/or aptitude A passion for customer service and being part of a great sales team Ability to answer a high volume of calls and/or emails every day Excellent written & verbal communication skills Excellent computer skills a must (MS Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) Acumatica or other MRP system experience a plus! Dependable, reliable team player who can support the Industrial Sales Department and the Mining Spare Parts business Patience, attention to detail and a can-do attitude Excellent active listening skills and an aptitude for problem solving Comfortable making cold calls and talking to new people all day Possesses and energetic, outgoing and friendly demeanor Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively Willingness to learn and become an integral part of a 130 year old industry leading company Technical / Mechanical background or awareness a plus A college degree is an asset but not required for a solid candidate

Requirements:

The position will entail the need to visit our shop to talk to production about job status, check on orders, etc., walk stairs, possibly handle small parcels, etc.

Pay:

$55,000.00
