Inside Sales Representative Lititz, PA 2 DAYS AGO 22617411 Summary Lititz, PA In-Person Competitive Salary 0 Years Experience High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED) No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description The Inside Sales Representative serves as the company's customer sales and service representative for recurring catalog sales, inventory stock sales, "similar to" sales, and sparing sales for prior and current Sechan programs.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Business Development and Program Management to establish annual catalog pricing, to evaluate prior customer and program procurement history and submit unsolicited quotations, to manage the response and quote submission for Requests for Quotes (RFQ)
  • Process "similar to" quotations with the help of Program Management and Engineering, and to transition resulting Purchase Orders (POs) to Program Management for execution
  • Serve as the point of contact for general incoming customer sales inquiries and emails. Determine if the inquiry/RFQ/solicitation is an Inside Sale or standard new business opportunity and initiate the appropriate process
  • Process Inside Sale RFQs, to include identification of any additional requirements such as first article to ensure they are priced, and ensure timely submission of a compliant quotation approved by Pricing, the Program Manager, and Business Development management (and Leadership team for catalog pricing over $1M)
  • Upon receipt of a Purchase Order or contract resulting from an Inside Sales quotation, notify Contracts and Program Management to ensure a well-coordinated transition and timely start to the project and internal work flows.
This includes informing Contracts when an Inside Sales Demand to Order (DTO) workflow is needed for a Release to Buy. Determines when approval steps can be modified to simplify the process and minimize the cost to process the order
  • Work with Program Managers and planners to develop plans to sell inventory parts, subassemblies, or spares to existing and new customers
  • Recommend inventory and assembly stocking plans for future sales based on order history and customer needs
  • Identify sales and inventory issues, risks, or opportunities to the Program Managers for consideration
  • Actively maintain and expand sales prospect database and opportunities
  • Provide backup support for standard new business opportunity management
  • Recommend and/or lead efforts to improve existing business processes and initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of this organization
Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills to work within and between integrated teams and perform a variety of tasks in a dynamic team environment.
  • Strong proofreading and editing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, ERP systems, and databases.
  • Ability to work independently; a 'self-starter' that requires little supervision once given a task.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently while working on multiple assignments.
  • Possesses a willingness to learn new processes and evolving ones, as well as the ability to assist in the training of others.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and work to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with teams and individuals of varying working styles.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree from accredited institution or 5 years of business experience.
  • A minimum of two (2) years in a supporting role in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
  • Prior experience in a sales, business development, customer service, or marketing role.
  • Understanding of FAR and DFAR preferred.
Work Environment:
    Office Environment:
    Requires physical capability to work in an office environment including sit/stand up to 9 hours a day and use basic office tools such as a computer, copier/printer, etc. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
      Hours:
      1st shift. Occasional off-shift hours may also be required to provide support to operations.
      • 9/80 work schedule.
      • Occasional travel may be required.
      • Office located in Lititz, PA, with occasional visits to Lancaster, PA facility.
