We are seeking an energetic, people-oriented, and highly organized Event Planner & Sales Coordinator who is passionate about creating memorable experiences for our guests while ensuring flawless event execution. Position Summary The Event Planner & Sales Coordinator will oversee the planning, coordination, marketing, and execution of weddings, celebrations of life, bridal showers, social events, and corporate gatherings. This role requires a dynamic and positive professional who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, enjoys building relationships with clients, and can effectively collaborate with multiple departments to deliver outstanding events. Weekend availability is required as most events occur on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Key Responsibilities Client Relations & Sales Respond to event inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Build strong relationships with prospective and existing clients. Generate new event business through networking, referrals, and community outreach. Follow up on leads and convert inquiries into booked events. Conduct venue tours and client showings for prospective customers. Prepare customized event proposals and pricing packages. Upsell additional services such as premium catering options, décor enhancements, accommodations, specialty rentals, and entertainment packages to maximize event revenue and enhance the guest experience. Maintain accurate event records, proposals, contracts, and client communications. Utilize event management software and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems to track client interactions, preferences, event details, follow-up activities, and sales pipelines. Monitor leads, booking activity, and conversion metrics to support revenue growth. Event Planning & Coordination Manage weddings, bridal showers, celebrations of life, rehearsal dinners, social gatherings, and private events from inquiry through execution. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning process. Conduct venue tours and client showings for prospective customers. Develop event timelines, floor plans, banquet event orders (BEOs), and execution schedules. Coordinate all event logistics to ensure a seamless guest experience. Attend and oversee events to ensure client satisfaction and address issues proactively Marketing & Social Media Assist in developing and executing event marketing initiatives. Manage and update social media content showcasing weddings, events, venue features, and guest experiences. Coordinate promotional campaigns to increase event bookings and brand visibility. Collaborate with management on advertising, partnerships, and community engagement opportunities. Additional Preferred Qualifications Experience using CRM and event management platforms such as Tripleseat, Delphi, Caterease, Event Temple, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar systems. Proven ability to increase event revenue through consultative selling and upselling strategies. Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Qualifications Previous experience in event planning, wedding planning, hospitality, catering sales, hotel events, or venue management preferred.
