Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Success Specialist to join a manufacturing team located in the Greater Philadelphia Region on a contract basis. This role supports the full customer order lifecycle, from reviewing incoming requests to coordinating updates across internal departments and keeping customers informed throughout the process. The ideal Customer Success Specialist candidate brings strong administrative accuracy, confident communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Here's how you'll contribute each day:
- Review customer orders carefully, verify details for accuracy, and enter information into company systems using tools such as Excel and Word.
- Work across purchasing, design, finance, and production teams to confirm specifications and keep orders moving efficiently.
- Provide timely communication to customers regarding order progress, revisions, estimated timelines, returns, and warranty-related questions.
- Create and organize shipping paperwork, product labels, invoices, and other order documentation while maintaining complete records.
- Monitor order status and follow up on outstanding items to help ensure customer expectations are met.
- Support inventory activities by assisting with counts and adhering to established operational procedures.
- Respond to customer inquiries through email and other service channels with professionalism and attention to detail. Other requirements for the Customer Success Specialis position include and are not limited to:
- Associate's degree or comparable experience in a related support function.
- At least 2+ years of experience in customer service, order management, administrative coordination, or a similar role.
- Strong Microsoft Excel capabilities, including working with formulas and managing structured data accurately.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and general office systems used for customer and order support.
- Excellent written communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities, stay organized, and adapt to changing business needs.
- Willingness to work beyond standard business hours when needed.
- Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and lift materials periodically.
