Job Overview This is a part-time, commission based, hybrid role for a Business Development Associate at The Independent magazine. The Business Development Associate will be responsible for prospecting, lead generation, building and maintaining a pipeline, and meeting a bimonthly sales goal. The role is based in Prairie Village, KS with the option for remote work. Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication Presentation skills and communication abilities Ability to work independently and in a team environment This role will be developing relationships with people in leadership roles throughout Kansas City. Having poise and professionalism with strong relationship building skills at this level is needed. Experience in Lead Generation and Market Research is a plus Previous experience in sales or business development is a plus Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field is a plus
