We help organizations securely and responsibly manage retired technology through secure data destruction, IT asset disposition, enterprise hardware recycling, refurbishment and remarketing, reverse logistics, and office and data center decommissioning. We are seeking a driven, well-connected Business Development Executive to expand our customer base, develop strategic partnerships, and create new opportunities across the ITAD, enterprise hardware, and data center ecosystem. The Role This is not a traditional transactional sales role. You will build long-term relationships with enterprises, data centers, IT service providers, cloud infrastructure companies, technology partners, suppliers, and remarketing channels. You will identify opportunities, develop solutions, close business, and help position Reboot Tech Recycling as a trusted partner for IT lifecycle management. Key Responsibilities Build a qualified pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, events, strategic outreach, and industry relationships. Develop relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, IT Directors, IT Asset Managers, Procurement, Facilities, Operations, data center operators, and technology partners. Identify opportunities related to technology refresh cycles, lease expirations, hardware upgrades, office closures, mergers and acquisitions, and data center decommissioning projects. Lead discovery meetings; understand security, compliance, logistics, recovery-value, and sustainability requirements; and present tailored solutions. Sell Reboot Tech Recycling's ITAD, secure data destruction, asset recovery, electronics recycling, reverse logistics, equipment remarketing, and decommissioning services. Develop sourcing and resale channels for retired servers, networking equipment, storage systems, and other enterprise hardware. Manage opportunities from initial contact through proposal, negotiation, contract execution, operational handoff, and long-term account growth. Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline forecasts, and sales activity in HubSpot or a comparable platform. Represent Reboot Tech Recycling at client meetings, site visits, conferences, and industry events. Qualifications 2-3+ years of successful business development, B2B sales, enterprise sales, or strategic-partnership experience in ITAD, electronics recycling, data center services, enterprise hardware, IT asset recovery, reverse logistics, MSP, VAR, or related technology services. Proven ability to create new opportunities independently and close complex, multi-stakeholder B2B deals. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills. Working knowledge of IT asset lifecycle management, data security, technology refresh cycles, hardware recovery, and sustainability considerations. Comfortable with outbound outreach, cold calling, customer meetings, and travel as needed. Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar tools is preferred. An existing network of enterprise IT, data center, procurement, security, facilities, or operations decision-makers is highly valued. Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
