This role will be at the center of that next chapter. Role Overview We are seeking a smart, ambitious, highly tech-savvy, and execution-oriented Business Development Associate to help oversee and accelerate our growth engine. This role sits at the intersection of business development, technology, and strategy. The individual will play a key role in shaping how World Energy identifies opportunities, engages prospects, and drives pipeline growth using data, AI tools, and modern outreach systems. You will be responsible for building intelligent target lists, executing high-quality outbound campaigns, optimizing workflows across Salesforce and ZoomInfo, monitoring market and buyer signals, and re-engaging dormant opportunities to unlock new revenue potential. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking with practical execution and is comfortable operating in a dynamic environment with direct exposure to senior leadership. This role reports directly to leadership and is viewed as a core driver of the company's next phase of growth. Core Responsibilities 1. AI-Powered Prospecting & Lead Generation Build highly targeted prospect lists using tools such as ZoomInfo, Salesforce CRM data, research, and market signals Identify companies most likely to need energy efficiency, EV charging, solar, lighting, HVAC, air quality, or sustainability solutions Segment prospects by industry, geography, size, urgency, and buying signals Constantly improve lead quality Surface high-probability opportunities for immediate outreach 2. Smart Outreach Campaign Execution Launch personalized outbound email campaigns using AI-generated content Support calling strategy by feeding the sales caller(s) the highest-priority leads Create messaging sequences, follow-up cadences, and outreach templates Test subject lines, value propositions, and campaign performance Ensure no strong lead goes cold due to lack of follow-up 3. CRM, Platform Ownership & Growth Operations Maintain and improve workflows inside Salesforce and ZoomInfo Ensure leads, opportunities, activities, and pipeline data are clean and actionable Help maximize the tools/features already in place rather than overcomplicating systems Serve as day-to-day internal owner of company ZoomInfo and Salesforce accounts Ensure all paid features and subscriptions are being properly utilized Evaluate whether current configurations are meeting company growth objectives Recommend upgrades, enhancements, integrations, or future technology investments directly to leadership Support annual renewals, vendor coordination, pricing discussions, and ROI evaluation 4. Sales Intelligence & Revenue Opportunity Recovery Monitor open opportunities, stalled deals, lost deals, and conversion patterns Conduct regular bi-weekly or monthly reviews (as determined by management) of closed-lost, inactive, or stalled opportunities Recommend directly to leadership which past prospects or deals are worth revisiting now based on market timing, incentives, ownership changes, or new offerings Identify re-engagement opportunities and relaunch campaigns Identify new verticals or markets worth targeting Turn data into action 5. Website Visitor Monitoring & Intent Tracking Regularly monitor website traffic, visitor intelligence tools, inbound signals, and account engagement data Identify organizations showing interest in World Energy's solutions Coordinate timely follow-up outreach where appropriate Connect website activity with CRM records and active campaigns Help leadership understand which marketing activity is producing real pipeline opportunities 6. Internal Technology Enablement Be the most technology-forward member of the commercial team Help senior colleagues adopt useful AI tools and productivity systems Introduce practical ways to save time and improve output Bring fresh ideas and modern operating habits Help foster a more data-driven and technology-enabled commercial culture
Ideal Candidate Profile We Are Looking For Someone Who Is:
