Part-Time Baker - Birch Tree Bread Company Birch Tree Bread Company is looking for a passionate, positive, and hard-working part-time baker to join our creative kitchen team. We make everything from scratch by hand every day — from naturally leavened breads and pastries to seasonal specials and café offerings — and we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with food, learning new skills, and being part of a collaborative environment. This is an early morning position and weekend availability is required. Opportunities for Growth This role offers opportunities for growth within the company, including cross-training in: Barista and café operations Farmers market events and off-site vending Additional kitchen and production roles Responsibilities Assist with daily bread, pastry, and bakery production Prepare and portion ingredients for recipes and food prep projects Shape, bake, and finish products with consistency and attention to detail Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace Support the kitchen and bakery team during busy production periods Help uphold Birch Tree's quality standards and from-scratch philosophy Qualifications Some baking, kitchen, or food prep experience preferred Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Comfortable with early mornings, standing for long periods, and physical kitchen work Weekend availability required Passion for food, creativity, and working with your hands Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn Birch Tree is a place filled with creativity, craftsmanship, and people who genuinely care about great food and community. Pay:
