This individual will identify new business opportunities, build lasting customer relationships, and drive revenue growth within the tactical, defense, law enforcement, and public safety sectors. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who thrives in the field, enjoys building relationships, and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory. Build and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement agencies, military organizations, security firms, first responders, government agencies, and commercial clients. Conduct customer meetings, product demonstrations, presentations, and local deliveries as needed. Develop and manage a consistent sales pipeline from prospecting through account management. Attend local networking events, industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events. Collaborate with Procurement, Contracts, Customer Service, and Operations teams to ensure customer expectations are exceeded. Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and opportunities within the company's CRM system. Prepare quotes, follow up on opportunities, and negotiate pricing within company guidelines. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Stay current on industry trends, new product offerings, and government procurement opportunities. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, outside sales, account management, or a related sales role. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Highly motivated with the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams). Experience working with CRM and ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred but not required. Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the assigned territory. Preferred Qualifications Experience within the tactical equipment, defense, military, law enforcement, or public safety industries. Existing relationships within military, law enforcement, corrections, emergency services, or security organizations. Knowledge of government purchasing processes, GSA schedules, FedMall, DIBBS, or institutional procurement is a plus. Military or law enforcement experience is highly valued.
