Job Description

At Camm Construction, while we want to help all clients and types of projects — our focus is on building relationships, creating opportunities, and winning the right projects. We're looking for a high-energy, relationship-driven Business Development professional who thrives on connecting with people, building trust, and turning those relationships into long-term partnerships. This is not a "sit behind a desk and wait" role.

This is a get out, connect, and grow the business role. What You'll Do Build and maintain relationships with: Property managers Developers Architects Healthcare and commercial clients Generate and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities (target: 3x-5x annual revenue goal) Focus heavily on repeat clients and negotiated work Identify and pursue high-quality projects that align with company goals Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to position projects for success Stay actively involved from first conversation through project award and completion Represent Camm Construction in the community, industry events, and networking opportunities What Success Looks Like Develop a pipeline of $30M-$50M in opportunities annually Close $8M-$12M+ in work per year Build a book of repeat and referral-based clients Drive a higher percentage of negotiated / relationship-based work Who You Are High energy, self-motivated, and driven to succeed Naturally relational—you enjoy meeting people and building trust Growth-minded—you're always looking to improve yourself and the business Competitive, but team-oriented Strong communicator (in person, phone, and written) Organized and able to manage multiple opportunities at once Comfortable being out in the field, not stuck in an office Adaptable to any situation and can pivot as needed with client interactions, requests or supporting your operations and on-site teams. Experience & Background 2+ years in sales, business development, or relationship-based roles (construction experience preferred, not required) Experience in commercial construction, real estate, or related industries is a plus Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships Valid driver's license required Compensation & Benefits Base Salary + Commission (per project secured) Commission structure rewards relationship-based and repeat work $450/month vehicle stipend Fuel card provided $80/month phone stipend Health insurance (employee contribution: $100/month) Supplemental insurance options 401(k) with company match Paid time off Why Camm Construction?
