Outside Sales Representative Weekly Base Pay + Uncapped Commission! 70k-80k
Average Weekly Mileage Reimbursement Job Description:
This field-based role focuses on recruiting local businesses into a new delivery partner program across targeted towns in New York. You will visit prospective businesses, present the program, qualify leads, guide applicants through the enrollment process, and help drive growth through community partnerships and events. The position combines outside sales, customer service, and light administrative work using CRM tools, with frequent regional travel and an uncapped commission structure.
Responsibilities:
Visit prospective local businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately a two-hour driving distance. Present and pitch the new delivery partner program to prospective businesses in a clear, compelling, and professional manner. Generate interest and encourage qualified businesses to apply to the program. Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them step by step through the application process. Lead and track prospecting and follow-up activity in Salesforce, maintaining an accurate and up-to-date pipeline. Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis to ensure data is current and organized. Support the Field Manager in planning and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch-and-learns and town hall meetings. Collaborate with the Field Manager to engage local influencers and organizations, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals and program awareness. Provide exceptional customer service to prospective partners, answering questions and resolving issues that arise during the application and onboarding process. Demonstrate professionalism, urgency, and attention to detail while working independently in the field. Travel daily within the assigned territory, managing your schedule to maximize outreach, meetings, and conversion of new partners.
Skills:
1-2+ years of experience in sales and/or customer service. Proven outside or field sales experience. CRM experience, with Salesforce strongly preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills, both in person and over the phone. Ability to manage and track a sales pipeline using technology and multiple systems. Ability to travel up to approximately four hours round trip on a daily basis. High level of professionalism, reliability, and urgency in a field-based role.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Prior experience in roles involving sales and/or negotiation with customers is a plus. Experience in field sales is a strong advantage. Demonstrated enthusiasm for working with others and building relationships in the community. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, especially when supporting applicants in the field. Tech-savvy mindset with comfort using multiple systems, spreadsheets, and mobile tools. Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while coordinating closely with a Field Manager and broader team. Work Environment This role is primarily field-based, with work in the field three to five times per week and remote work from home on non-field days. You will travel within a radius of up to two hours (approximately four hours round trip) to visit businesses and attend community events. The position relies heavily on technology, including Salesforce as the core CRM platform and Excel for data handling and weekly imports. You will collaborate closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment focused on recruiting and supporting delivery partners. The role offers uncapped commission opportunities tied to partner applications, readiness to launch, and sustained participation, as well as benefits such as paid time off after a period of successful performance, partial phone expense coverage, and mileage reimbursement for travel. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Amarillo, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.50 - $25.50/hr.
