The people who join us early and help us build are the people who grow with us, and the door this role opens is a big one (more on that below). The Role This is a founding sales development role. You are the tip of the spear. Your job is to find business owners who need what we do, start the conversation, and book qualified appointments for our closers. You're not closing deals yet, and that's the point of this seat. You generate the pipeline that makes everything else possible. You'll be given leads to work, and that lead flow grows as we expand, moving from mostly outbound today toward a stronger inbound engine over time. Early on, you hunt. As we scale, more pipeline comes to you. Here's what makes this different from most setter jobs: this is the on-ramp, not the ceiling. Prove you can find and qualify the right people, and the founding closer seats open up to you, where the commission doubles. We would rather promote the person who already knows our customer than hire a stranger. Your next role is sitting right on the other side of your performance in this one. What You'll Do Prospect and generate leads, then book qualified appointments for our closing team Work and manage leads with speed and efficiency, because the first rep to respond wins, and a slow follow-up is a lost deal Qualify hard, so every appointment you book is one a closer is excited to take Keep everything organized and current in our CRM Be the first impression a business owner has of Scale Enterprises, and make it a great one What You'll Make Let's talk numbers, because if you're the kind of person we want, that's what you're already thinking about. This role is 100% commission at 20% , paid on the deals that close from the appointments you set. No cap. Our ticket prices start at $6,000 and only go up from there. That means every appointment you book that turns into a sale puts $1,200 in your pocket. Book quality and book volume, and that adds up fast. Set the table with enough qualified appointments and you're earning real money for work that, done right, is a skill you'll carry for the rest of your career. And the version of this that goes right doesn't stop here. The closers in this company earn double what you do, and they get pulled from the people who proved themselves in this exact seat first. If you want a paycheck to hide behind, this isn't it. If you've been telling yourself you're worth more than your last job paid you, and you want a clear, earned path to prove it, this is exactly it. Who We're Looking For You don't need a perfect résumé. You need to be able to communicate clearly and start a conversation with a stranger without flinching, and some sales experience helps. Past that, we care about who you are when the work gets hard: Integrity. You do right by the business owner and by us, every single time. Trust is what makes the whole thing work. Knowledge. You learn the customer and the craft of prospecting like your income depends on it, because it does. Enthusiasm. You bring energy into every conversation. People take the meeting because you made them want to. A desire to be the best. Not good. The best. You keep score and you want to win. Work ethic. You make the extra dials, you send the extra follow-ups, and you'd be embarrassed to be outworked. You should also be comfortable using a CRM, or quick enough to learn one and disciplined enough to keep your pipeline clean. Why This Is Worth It Picture the version of this that goes right.
