We are seeking an experienced Freight Broker to join our growing logistics team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of freight brokerage experience and a strong understanding of the transportation and logistics industry. Candidates with an existing book of business are highly encouraged to apply and will be strongly considered.

Freight Broker Responsibilities:

Develop and manage relationships with carriers and shippers Source new carrier partners and negotiate competitive freight rates Manage full lifecycle of freight shipments from pickup to delivery Maintain communication with all parties to ensure timely and accurate updates Identify and resolve any issues or delays in the transportation process Track shipments and ensure all documentation is completed accurately Work closely with internal operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction Meet or exceed monthly sales and performance goals

Freight Broker Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a freight broker or in a similar logistics role Strong knowledge of transportation industry trends, regulations, and best practices Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills Self-motivated and able to work independently Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment An existing book of business is a strong plus

Compensation:

Competitive base salary plus commission
