Job Description

Hybrid Field Sales Representative 186 Erskine Ln, Scott Depot, WV 25560 Occasional travel to the main Scott Depot, WV branch will be required for training sessions, team meetings, collaboration, and additional business needs. TruGreen accepts applications on an ongoing basis. Job Description As a TruGreen Field Sales Representative, you'll be the welcoming face out in the neighborhood, meeting homeowners face-to-face to introduce them to the benefits of personalized lawn care solutions. This hybrid remote field-based role allows you to independently manage your territory throughout Beckley, WV 25801 and Parkersburg, WV 26101, while occasionally traveling to Scott Depot, WV for training, meetings, team collaboration, and business needs. Equipped with expertise, enthusiasm, and commitment to TruGreen's proven Sales Playbook, you'll provide tailored services right at customers' doorsteps, turning casual interactions into lasting customer relationships. Additional Work Environment & Travel Section This is a hybrid remote field-based position, meaning your primary work environment will consist of independently managing your sales territory throughout Beckley, WV 25801 and Parkersburg, WV 26101. You'll spend most of your time working remotely in the field, engaging directly with homeowners in the community while maintaining flexibility and autonomy in your day-to-day schedule. What You'll Do
  • You will be the face of TruGreen, engaging with homeowners face-to-face, understanding their needs, and delivering custom lawn care solutions that builds trust and satisfaction. Every day is an opportunity to connect, educate, and earn their business.
  • Engage with new and existing customers through door-to-door outreach with professionalism, energy, and good vibes
  • Customize sales messaging to match the unique lawn care needs of each household because no two yards (or customers) are the same
  • Turn "just looking" into "just signed" with a proven sales methodology and processes
  • Log interactions and track performance using a CRM to measure activity and track performance, because numbers matter, and so does follow-through
  • Cross-sell and upsell with precision using your expertise to show customers how to level up their lawns What You'll Bring - You don't need a green thumb to thrive here, just the drive to succeed and the people's skills to make every doorstep feel like a warm lead.
  • High school diploma or GED required (a PhD in People Skills is highly encouraged)
  • Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus, but passion and hustle go even further
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, we like our reps reliable and road-ready
  • Strong communication chops, whether it's small talk or closing talk, you keep it smart and sincere
  • Solid time management skills and a self-starter mindset, you're the kind who doesn't want to be told "go"
  • Comfortable with technology and mobile devices (you won't need to code, just tap, swipe, and go)

Must be a gifted storyteller with an awesome personality who will make quality sales for TruGreen. Reliable motor vehicle to transport yourself from the branch to property visits is required. Motorcycles and other two or three wheeled vehicles are not acceptable for any business-related travel subject to local, state and federal law Valid, current driver's license required; subject to pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record check, and proof of insurance required.
