TELECO is growing, and we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Inside Sales & Product Specialist to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of delivering dependable communication solutions. Job Summary The Inside Sales & Product Specialist is a multifaceted hybrid role that is part of the team responsible for supporting TELECO's Dealer Channel Network, delivering product education, and managing core product data. This position combines inside sales support, product training, and curriculum development with the proactive management of product information across internal database systems. Serving as a central resource alongside other team members, this individual helps ensure that our dealers and internal teams have the accurate product guidance, training, and data assets necessary to drive sales, marketing, and operational excellence across all product divisions—including, but not limited to, telephony, video surveillance, and access control systems. Key Responsibilities 1.
Inside Sales & Dealer Channel Support Dealer Liaison:
Act as a primary liaison between TELECO headquarters and dealer partners to ensure high-quality service, onboarding, and ongoing support. Sales Consultation:
Provide inside sales support across TELECO's product lines, performing customer needs analysis and delivering accurate product information. Quote Management:
Assist dealers and, occasionally, internal sales teams with generating and managing accurate sales and project quotes. 2. Product Information & Data Management Database Maintenance:
Help maintain and update product information, descriptions, technical specifications, pricing, and images within databases and ERP systems. Launch Support:
Support new product launches by setting up, validating, and auditing product records to identify and correct discrepancies. Cross-Department Collaboration:
Collaborate with manufacturers, vendors, and internal eCommerce/marketing teams to gather product details and optimize documentation, catalogs, and data sheets. 3. Technical Programming & Operational Support Remote System Configuration:
Program, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems (including phone system setups and recording features) remotely. Data Administration:
Manage bulk uploads, data migrations, and imports as needed to support system accuracy. 4. Product Training & Curriculum Development Product Instructor:
Serve as a trainer for TELECO's product offerings, supporting dealers, local customers, and internal staff. Content Creation:
Help develop and update comprehensive training curricula and instructional materials, including manuals, product guides, and video tutorials. Qualifications & Skills Required Experience Professional Experience:
3+ years of experience in inside sales, channel support, technical training, telecommunications, or security/surveillance support. Data Entry & Operations Experience:
1-2 years of experience handling product data management, supply chain coordination, or order fulfillment tasks is highly desirable. Technical Acumen:
Proven experience configuring and troubleshooting telecom platforms, IP endpoints, or video surveillance hardware. Systems & Technical Skills Software Proficiency:
Advanced command of Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel (for data management, bulk imports, and reporting), Word, Outlook, and Teams. Experience with AI is a plus. Systems Knowledge:
Experience utilizing ERP software systems; knowledge of Epicor ERP is a strong plus. Core Competencies Communication Skills:
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with a natural ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear instructions. Organization & Detail:
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and data accuracy are essential for success in this role. Adaptability:
