Inside Sales Representative (K-12 Education Technology)

Our mission is to help educators reduce complexity, improve efficiency, and make informed decisions through innovative software and services. Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to support our growing sales team. This role is responsible for generating qualified opportunities, conducting outbound prospecting, nurturing leads, scheduling product demonstrations, and supporting revenue growth across our portfolio of K-12 solutions. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, comfortable communicating with school and district leaders, and motivated by achieving measurable sales goals. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other outreach methods.
  • Identify and qualify opportunities within school districts, BOCES, charter schools, and educational organizations.
  • Schedule product demonstrations and meetings for Regional Sales Representatives and Inside Account Manager.
  • Maintain accurate prospect and customer information within CRM.
  • Execute targeted sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Follow up on inbound leads generated through marketing activities, conferences, webinars, and referrals.
  • Research accounts and identify key decision-makers.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective customers.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to support revenue growth initiatives.
  • Track activity metrics and consistently achieve prospecting and lead-generation goals.
  • Stay informed on K-12 education trends, district challenges, and competitive offerings. Qualifications Required
  • 1+ years of inside sales, business development, lead generation, or customer-facing experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Odoo, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Preferred
  • Experience selling SaaS, software, technology, or professional services.
  • Experience working with K-12 education, government, or public sector customers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Success Metrics The successful candidate will be measured on:
