Job Description
The Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative is responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer support. This role involves engaging with customers via phone, email, and chat to understand their needs, promote products or services, and ensure a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with strong sales skills and a customer-centric mindset.
Key Responsibilities Sales and Lead Generation :
Contact prospective and existing customers to promote products/services. Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions to drive sales. Follow up on leads and inquiries to convert them into sales opportunities. Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
Customer Service :
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or live chat in a timely and professional manner. Resolve customer issues, process orders, and handle returns or complaints efficiently. Provide accurate product information, pricing, and delivery details. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through personalized service.
Account Management :
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster repeat business. Update and manage customer records in the CRM system. Collaborate with the sales team to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Administrative Tasks :
Prepare quotes, invoices, and sales reports as needed. Coordinate with other departments (e.g., shipping, billing) to ensure seamless order fulfillment. Track and report on sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.
Qualifications Education and Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. 2-4 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related role. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Skills and Abilities :
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building customer relationships. Proven ability to meet sales goals and handle objections. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite. Experience working in an ERP system, Global Shop preferred Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
