We are looking for an awesome, motivated, and relationship-driven individual to join our team as a full-time Off-Premise Sales Representative. This role will focus on building and growing Stem's presence in retail accounts, including grocery stores, liquor stores, specialty wine shops, and other off-premise partners. This is not an established route, so the ideal candidate will be energized by the opportunity to develop new business, grow account relationships, and help expand an important part of our business in the Arizona market. The right person will have strong sales instincts, excellent follow-through, a passion for wine, and the ability to work independently while staying closely connected to the broader Stem team. They will embrace, enhance, and promote the Stem Wine Company culture and values everywhere, all the time. Responsibilities Build new business within the assigned territory and actively open new off-premise accounts Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail buyers, store managers, and key account decision-makers Present and sell Stem's portfolio of wines to off-premise customers Execute sales plans to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly goals Conduct regular account visits to ensure proper product placement, merchandising, inventory levels, and brand visibility Create and conduct effective sales and marketing presentations Coordinate and participate in in-store tastings, promotions, and account events Educate retail staff on wine selections, promotions, pricing, and brand stories Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences Enter all account orders accurately and in a timely manner Handle required paperwork, reporting, and account follow-up Communicate regularly with management to ensure optimal effectiveness in the market Develop in-depth knowledge of the Stem Wine Company portfolio and pricing Communicate regularly with logistics and operations teams to support accurate order fulfillment Support a safe, professional, and collaborative working environment Skills Strong passion for and knowledge of the wine industry Excellent customer service, sales, and relationship-building skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Highly organized with strong planning and follow-through Self-motivated, dependable, honest, and trustworthy Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively Positive attitude and team-first mindset Proficient with email, Microsoft Office, and basic sales/account reporting tools Ability to learn and speak confidently about a diverse wine portfolio Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age Minimum 2 years of sales experience preferred Wine, spirits, beverage, grocery, retail chain, or distributor experience strongly preferred Existing relationships in the Arizona retail market are a plus Valid driver's license and evidence of insurability Clean driving record Reliable transportation Ability and willingness to travel within designated market area Ability to lift, lower, and carry up to 50 lbs Background check clearance College degree preferred but not required Wine certification, such as WSET, CMS, or similar, is a plus but not required What We Offer An energetic, professional, and supportive working environment Base salary plus commission Medical insurance Paid time off 401(k) Cell phone allowance Expense and fuel allowance Career growth opportunities The opportunity to help build and grow an important segment of Stem's business Compensation Base salary range of $40,000-$50,000, plus commission.
