Sell Equipment That Keeps America Moving. Genesis Equips You is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to grow our commercial truck and trailer business across the Apopka, FL tri-state territory. If you're a closer who knows the trucking, fleet, or heavy equipment world — and you're tired of selling against a capped commission structure — this is the seat for you. You'll own your book from prospecting to close, backed by a full solution stack: truck sales, trailer rentals, and in-house financing through Genesis Capital Finance. When standard inventory doesn't fit a client's spec, our Director of Operations partners with you to source it. That means fewer lost deals and more reasons for fleet operators to keep coming back to you. What You'll Do Prospect and close new fleet customers — small and mid-sized operators and fleets across your tri-state territory Build a steady pipeline through cold calls, in-person visits, networking events, and referrals Get under the hood of each prospect's operation — haul profile, growth plans, pain points — and match them with the right truck, trailer, and financing package Own the full sales cycle: first call, demo, negotiation, contract, delivery Partner with internal leadership when inventory needs to be sourced to fit a client Track your activity and pipeline accurately in our sales tools Stay sharp on regional market conditions, competitor moves, and equipment trends What You Bring 3+ years of outside sales and rental experience (1+ year in commercial trucking, trailer, fleet, heavy equipment, or related B2B) Proven track record of hitting and beating quota in a commission-driven environment Strong working knowledge of the regional commercial trucking market High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable personal vehicle Comfortable with email, spreadsheets, and CRM/sales tracking tools Willing to travel the territory regularly, including occasional overnight trips Even Better If You Have Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field 5+ years selling commercial trucks, trailers, or fleet equipment An established book of contacts in regional fleet, logistics, construction, or owner-operator circles Experience selling full-solution packages with financing and rental components Working knowledge of equipment financing structures and credit qualification basics Why Genesis Equips You Uncapped earning potential — base salary plus a commission package that rewards performance A full solution to sell — sales, rentals, and financing in one bag Real territory ownership — you build it, you keep it Operational backing — leadership that helps you source equipment and close tough deals Weekly expense allotment for fuel, meals, and travel Physical Requirements This is an active, on-the-road role.
