Duties Prospect and generate new leads through customer visits, community events, and targeted marketing campaigns. Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients by understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions. Conduct product demonstrations and technical sales presentations to educate customers on environmentally positive and responsible refuse handling processes. Negotiate contracts and close sales agreements that benefit both the customer and the company. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop multilingual promotional materials that appeal to diverse communities. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. Maintain detailed records of all sales activities, client interactions, and follow-up tasks within CRM systems. Lead by example in the field, demonstrating professionalism, technical knowledge, and leadership qualities to junior team members. Qualifications Proven experience in outside sales or direct customer outreach, preferably within the waste industry. Strong skills in negotiation, communication, and customer service; bilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse markets. Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or other CRM tools to manage contacts and sales pipelines effectively. Ability to work independently in a door-to-door environment while maintaining motivation and focus on targets. Knowledge of marketing strategies that enhance outreach efforts across different communities. Technical aptitude related to the waste industry or comparable industries are a plus; willingness to learn about new technologies is essential. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to inspire team collaboration and motivate peers toward shared goals.
