In this pivotal role, you will serve as a frontline leader, inspiring and guiding sales staff to deliver exceptional customer service while achieving sales goals. Your expertise sale operations, team management, and product knowledge, to help a Mom and Pop excavation company grow. As a Lead Sales Associate, you will be responsible for supervising sales activities, and fostering a positive sales team environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop leadership skills, knowing in the construction field and making a meaningful impact within the business. This is a commission-based job with earning a 7% gross and 2% of what your apprentices make on their sales. Average job is 40k Responsibilities Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets through effective coaching and training in customer service, product knowledge, and sales techniques. Oversee daily sale operations including using a training handling, POS system management, and estimating with AI programs. Going to site surveys, estimating, delivering estimate and following up with customers Supervising and training a team of sale apprentices Generating your own sales lead as well as getting leads and taking following up with sales leads generated by the company Assist with recruiting efforts by interviewing candidates, participating in employee orientation, and supporting onboarding processes as you will have these people under you for a time while they are being trained. Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries with professionalism and ensuring a welcoming environment. Strong negotiation skills paired with excellent communication abilities to engage customers and motivate team members. Proven experience in sales with supervisory or assistant manager roles within the sales industry is preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams, managing schedules, and developing staff through training & development initiatives. Solid understanding of math including pricing strategies, budgeting, and sales analysis. Excellent interpersonal skills including phone etiquette, managerial communication, and customer service excellence.
