This Is a Territory-Building Opportunity. Durante Equipment is growing, and we are looking for a driven Outside Sales Representative who wants to build something bigger than a book of business. We are not looking for someone who wants to wait for the phone to ring. We are looking for someone who wants to be out in the field, at jobsites early, meeting contractors, finding opportunities, building relationships, solving problems, and closing deals. Why This Role Is Different This is a real outside sales role. Your territory is yours to build, grow, and defend. You will be calling on jobsites, contractors, project managers, purchasing teams, facility managers, and existing customers throughout Miami-Dade. You will be expected to create new opportunities, grow current accounts, win back dormant accounts, and take business from competitors. The best people in this role are early risers, relationship builders, problem solvers, and closers. They know that the first jobsite visit of the day matters. They know that follow-up matters. They know that CRM notes matter. They know that activity creates opportunity, and opportunity creates income. What You'll Do You will manage and grow an assigned Miami-Dade sales territory by visiting jobsites, contractor offices, and customer locations daily. Your job is to develop new business, maintain and grow existing accounts, identify customer needs, recommend the right equipment, and help customers keep their projects moving. You will prospect new accounts, reactivate dormant accounts, pursue competitor accounts, and build relationships with decision-makers across construction, industrial, commercial, municipal, and specialty markets. You will work closely with our inside sales, dispatch, service, and operations teams to make sure customers receive the equipment, communication, and support they need. You will also be expected to use our CRM consistently and accurately to track calls, visits, opportunities, follow-ups, and customer information. This role requires consistent participation in weekly sales meetings, team initiatives, territory planning, and performance reviews. We believe in accountability, communication, and execution. You know what projects are happening in your territory. You understand what equipment they need, when they need it, and how Durante can earn more of their business. You do not just "check in." We're Looking For Someone Who Has A competitive mindset and a strong desire to win. Proven sales experience, preferably in equipment rental, construction, industrial sales, building materials, trucking, logistics, or another high-activity field sales environment. The ability to work independently while still being part of a team. Strong communication, follow-up, and relationship-building skills. Comfort walking onto jobsites, introducing yourself, asking questions, and creating conversations. CRM discipline and the ability to document activity, opportunities, and customer feedback accurately. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel daily throughout the assigned territory.
