  • $70,000/year, weekly car allowance, company toll tag, company phone, plus commission. Sky Building Materials is GROWING! We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative in each of the following areas
  • Fort Worth, Austin-San Antonio (Remote), Houston (Hybrid), and South Texas Valley (Remote) .
If you live in these areas and meet the qualifications, apply for the role. Primarily a remote role, which will require effective reporting and communication with your Sales Manager. The Outside Sales Representative manages the complete sales cycle, balancing new business development with the growth and maintenance of existing customer relationships. This role requires a strategic approach, strong business acumen, and the ability to align customer needs with company solutions while consistently meeting revenue goals. Who You Are The person in this role is a motivated and reliable sales professional who can manage multiple priorities and work independently. You are comfortable building relationships, handling customer conversations, and adjusting to changing business needs. You communicate clearly, protect confidential information, and follow through on commitments. What You Will Be Doing Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, customer meetings, negotiating, and closing sales Grow existing customer accounts while developing new business opportunities Build and maintain long-term customer relationships Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with corporate and regional goals Monitor market conditions and identify growth opportunities Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and call reports Deliver professional presentations to architects, contractors, glazers, interior designers, and key decision-makers Collaborate with Operations Leaders on project planning and execution Support account collections when needed Share best practices and collaborate with peers to support team success Must be a good listener who asks good questions. Must be an advocate for the Voice of the Customer back to the business as well as a representative of Sky Building Materials back to the customer. Perform other duties as assigned Skills You Bring
  • 1-3 years of outside sales experience in the commercial glass and/or aluminum storefront industries; a blend of sales, estimating, and project management experience within the industry is also acceptable.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required. Strong understanding of pricing, margins, and profitability Ability to manage a sales pipeline and forecast using CRM tools Strong organization and time management skills Clear verbal and written communication skills Ability to negotiate and influence effectively Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet revenue goals Ability to handle confidential information professionally Ability to travel within the assigned territory, including some overnight stays as well as occasional trade shows.
