We specialize in bulk fuel delivery, on-site fueling, fleet fueling, job-site fueling, scheduled deliveries, and customized fuel solutions for commercial and industrial customers. Maco Oil is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to develop new business and expand existing customer relationships within the assigned territory. This position will focus on selling commercial fuel, DEF, fleet fueling solutions, and related services to customers in the transportation, construction, agriculture, marine, manufacturing, industrial, commercial, and heavy equipment industries. The ideal candidate is a disciplined, professional, and relationship-driven sales representative with strong prospecting skills, excellent communication abilities, and the motivation to build a successful territory in a competitive market. Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development Prospect and develop new commercial fuel accounts within the assigned territory Identify and pursue opportunities with fleet operators, construction companies, farms, agricultural businesses, manufacturers, transportation companies, marinas, municipalities, and industrial customers Conduct cold calls, in-person visits, networking, presentations, and other business development activities Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects Develop long-term relationships with decision-makers and purchasing managers Identify opportunities to replace or supplement existing fuel suppliers Account Management Maintain and grow existing customer relationships Regularly communicate with customers to understand their fuel needs and business requirements Identify opportunities to increase volume and expand services Respond to customer concerns and work with internal teams to resolve issues promptly Coordinate with dispatch, operations, accounting, credit, and fuel supply teams to ensure a high level of customer service Maintain strong customer retention and satisfaction Fuel & Service Sales Sell commercial diesel, gasoline, DEF, bulk fuel delivery, fleet fueling, and on-site fueling services Promote scheduled and recurring fuel deliveries Identify opportunities for job-site fueling and equipment fueling Recommend fueling solutions based on customer operations, equipment, fleet size, and fuel consumption Educate customers on the benefits of reliable fuel supply, scheduled deliveries, and customized fueling solutions Identify opportunities for tank and fuel management services Pricing & Market Awareness Monitor fuel market conditions and competitive pricing Understand daily fuel pricing and market fluctuations Develop competitive pricing strategies while maintaining company margins Communicate market conditions and pricing changes to customers Stay informed about fuel supply, terminal activity, and other factors affecting the commercial fuel market Work closely with management to develop competitive quotes and proposals Territory Management Develop and maintain a structured sales plan for the Miami-Dade, Broward, and West Palm Beach territory Maintain accurate customer and prospect information Track sales activities, opportunities, follow-ups, and customer interactions Prioritize high-potential accounts and strategic opportunities Meet established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals Consistently grow sales volume and customer base within the territory Qualifications Preferred Experience 2+ years of outside sales or business development experience Experience in fuel, transportation, fleet services, construction, industrial, agricultural, marine, or related industries preferred Proven ability to prospect and generate new business Experience managing a sales pipeline and developing a territory Experience working with commercial customers and business decision-makers Knowledge & Skills Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Highly motivated and self-directed Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Professional appearance and customer service skills Strong organizational and follow-up abilities Ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions Comfortable making cold calls and conducting face-to-face sales visits Basic understanding of commercial pricing, margins, and sales processes CRM and Microsoft Office experience preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Preferred Industry Backgrounds Candidates with experience in the following industries are strongly encouraged to apply: Commercial fuel Fuel distribution Transportation and trucking Fleet services Construction Agriculture Manufacturing Industrial sales Heavy equipment Equipment rental Marine and marina services Commercial services Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary plus commission Performance-based sales incentives Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Career growth and advancement opportunities Opportunity to build and manage a growing sales territory Work Environment Combination of field sales, customer visits, prospecting, and office coordination Customer visits to job sites, facilities, fleets, farms, marinas, and commercial properties Flexible and independent work environment Occasional after-hours responsiveness may be required to support customers during weather events, emergencies, or urgent fueling needs About Maco Oil Maco Oil is committed to providing dependable fuel delivery and personalized service to commercial customers throughout Florida.
