As we continue to grow, we're seeking a dynamic, results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team and help bring our unique products to market.Job Overview:
As an Outside Sales Representative for SOLA Outdoor, you'll be responsible for driving sales, building customer relationships, and promoting our line of solar-powered pergolas and shading solutions. We're looking for someone passionate about sustainability and outdoor living, with a proven track record in sales and a proactive approach to meeting customer needs.Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and establish relationships with potential commercial customers (pool builders, landscapers, builders, contractors, outdoor living retailers).
- Engage commercial customers who may not become dealers (restaurants, hotels, coffee shops, bars, shopping centers).
- Handle residential leads provided through advertising and website inquiries.
- Conduct appointments, presentations, and close sales.
- Promote and sell Sola's solar-powered pergolas and shading systems.
- Educate clients on the benefits of eco-friendly, solar-powered products.
- Participate in trade shows, events, and community outreach initiatives.
- Manage pipeline of leads using CRM tools.
- Provide exceptional customer service from initial interest through post-sale follow-up.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of proven sales experience, ideally in home improvement, outdoor living, or renewable energy industries.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and demeanor
- A passion for sustainability and outdoor living, with knowledge of solar-powered or eco-friendly products preferred.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Experience with HubSpot CRM software preferred.
- Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and events as needed.
- Willingness to travel domestically in the USA to attend trade shows.
- Must have valid driver's license and own reliable transportation
