Local Outside Sales Representative -
Commercial Truck & Trailer Solutions Territory:
Hampton Roads & Northeastern North Carolina East Coast Truck & Trailer Sales, Inc., the leading supplier of auto transport, is seeking a dynamic and driven Local Sales Representative to join our team. We are a premier manufacturer and supplier of Commercial Trucks (towing, waste refuse, etc.) and Auto Transport, while also offering premium parts, a state-of-the-art service center, and our very own Sign & Design shop. With over 30 years in business, we take pride in serving customers worldwide.
Position Overview:
As a Local Sales Representative, you will manage inbound leads and actively prospect within your assigned territory, aligning customer needs with ECTTS's full portfolio of products and services. You will represent our brand in the field, drive recurring business, and serve as a trusted solutions partner to commercial and municipal clients. This position reports directly to Executive leadership & is expected to promote and sell: Comprehensive truck and trailer solutions Repair and maintenance services Parts, soft goods, and safety gear Custom straps, chains, and cables Custom signage and branding solutions Why Join Our Team? Position Requirements:
Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or territory management (preferred) CRM experience (preferred) Commercial, automotive, or industrial sales background is a plus Ability to identify and develop customer inquiries and close new business Effective pipeline management to meet or exceed sales goals Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills Self-motivated with a results driven mindset
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development Develop and manage a regional sales territory (Hampton Roads & NE North Carolina) Generate new business through outbound prospecting, referrals, and digital channels Convert inbound phone and online leads into long-term customers Communicate ECTTS's competitive advantages and value proposition Customer Relationship Management Maintain customer records Maintain consistent customer contact (minimum every 30 days) Build and protect account relationships through proactive engagement Customer Service & Retention Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally Act as the primary point of contact for account support Deliver solution-oriented service, not transactional selling Professional Development & Reporting Participate in daily sales meetings Complete weekly activity and planning reports Stay current on industry trends and product knowledge Attend quarterly vendor / OEM training Attend daily MS Teams meetings Physical & Licensing Requirements Valid driver's license with clean MVR Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to meet vision and hearing standards Comfortable working in shop, warehouse, and field environments Schedule Monday- Friday, 8:00 am- 5:00 pm Travel & Work Environment Field based across Hampton Roads & Northeastern North Carolina Approximately 60% travel We work with and around heavy equipment, so we are a drug-free workplace (including THC) .
