We are looking for a driven, field-oriented sales professional to help grow our local territory through account development, customer visits, product demonstrations, and new business prospecting. Job Summary AIM Chemicals is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to develop and grow business throughout the North Georgia territory, including areas such as Alpharetta, Marietta, Dalton, Cumming, Dawsonville, Blue Ridge, and surrounding markets. This is a field-based outside sales role for someone who enjoys meeting customers face-to-face, building relationships, learning products hands-on, and creating new business opportunities. The right candidate will be self-motivated, competitive, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field. This is not a passive sales position or an order-taking role. Success requires consistent customer visits, strong follow-up, prospecting activity, product knowledge, and ownership of territory growth. Role Focus 65%-75% Account Development and Customer Growth You will spend most of your time developing existing and assigned accounts through customer visits, relationship building, product education, follow-up, product support, and identifying additional sales opportunities. 25%-35% Hunting, Prospecting, and New Business Development You will also be expected to consistently pursue new business through cold calls, in-person visits, referrals, networking, local market research, appointment setting, and follow-up with qualified prospects. Key Responsibilities Manage, support, and grow assigned local territory accounts. Build strong relationships with business owners, managers, buyers, technicians, and end users. Conduct regular in-person customer visits throughout the territory. Identify opportunities to increase sales through account development, cross-selling, product placement, and expanded product usage. Prospect for new business through field visits, phone calls, emails, referrals, networking, and local market research. Make in-person introductions and schedule follow-up meetings with potential customers. Conduct hands-on product demonstrations for customers and prospects. Learn AIM Chemicals' product lines, applications, usage methods, and customer benefits. Assist customers with product selection, usage guidance, and basic troubleshooting. Support new product launches, sales programs, specials, promotions, and customer campaigns. Assist the marketing team with deploying programs, training, customer communications, specials, promotions, and field-level data capture. Capture customer feedback, market information, product interests, competitive activity, and sales opportunity data. Maintain accurate customer notes, follow-ups, pipeline activity, and account information in
ZOHO CRM.
Communicate regularly with sales management regarding territory progress, customer needs, market activity, and sales opportunities. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly activity, pipeline, account development, and sales goals. Qualifications 1-3 years of sales, route sales, customer service, retail sales, outside sales, inside sales, account management, business development, or other customer-facing experience preferred. Experience in automotive, detailing, industrial, fleet, chemical, equipment, service, or route-based sales is a plus. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required. Ability to travel locally throughout the assigned territory. Comfortable making in-person customer visits, prospecting calls, and cold calls. Willingness to learn technical product information and demonstrate products hands-on in the field. Experience using CRM systems preferred;
ZOHO CRM
experience is a plus. Basic computer skills, including email, CRM usage, and reporting. High school diploma or equivalent required. Skills and Attributes High-activity, motivated, and action-oriented. Strong desire to grow sales, develop accounts, and win new business. Confident speaking with new people and building business relationships. Comfortable working independently in the field. Competitive mindset with a positive attitude. Strong communication, listening, and follow-up skills. Organized and disciplined with scheduling, customer notes, and CRM activity. Coachable and willing to learn our products, customers, and sales process. Comfortable with hands-on product learning and product demonstrations. Able to handle rejection and continue prospecting consistently. Professional, reliable, punctual, and accountable. Compensation and Benefits Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission.
Expected first-year earnings:
$55,000-$80,000, based on experience, activity level, and performance.
Year two and beyond:
$80,000+ earning potential, with no cap on commissions. Strong performers have the opportunity to increase earnings as they grow their territory, develop accounts, and open new business. Pay:
$55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
