Job Description

Valley Industries is looking for it next Pump Sales Tech Specialist! The Pump Sales Tech Specialist serves as a primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional support and ensuring a positive customer experience. This role is responsible for processing orders, responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining accurate customer records. The Customer Service Representative works closely with outside sales, production, and assembly teams to ensure products are manufactured correctly and delivered on time. In addition, this position develops a strong understanding of diaphragm and plunger pump products to effectively support both internal and external customers. This role is based in our Paynesville, MN location and is in office role with no remote capabilities. Some duties and responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to: Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on products or services. Work directly with the Outside sales team to ensure orders are shipped in a timely manner. Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services. Work directly with production to ensure parts are manufactured correctly and prioritize assembly items. Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative's knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff. Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers' problems and concerns. Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments. Work with both internal and external customers to gain knowledge of the inner workings of both diaphragm and plunger pumps. Other duties may be assigned.
