A confidential St. Louis-area employer is seeking a motivated Sales Account Coordinator to join its high-energy sales team. Position Overview In this role, you will: Work with a variety of customers, including corporations, schools, hospitality partners, event planners, and individuals. Communicate and coordinate with local, national, and international business partners. Build strong customer relationships that encourage repeat business. Guide customers through the sales process and create solutions based on their individual needs. Manage company-provided opportunities while also identifying and developing new leads. Respond to inquiries, requests for information, and service reservations in a professional and timely manner. Collaborate with other members of the sales team to meet or exceed customer expectations. Promote services for special events, corporate groups, and other customer needs. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of one to two years of inside sales experience . Experience in hospitality, meetings, group services, events, or another service-based industry is preferred. Experience or training in consultative sales. A genuine commitment to providing courteous, friendly, and responsive customer service. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong phone etiquette and confidence conducting Zoom or other video meetings. The ability to manage multiple inquiries, details, and deadlines effectively. Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail. A dependable and responsible approach to work. A strong desire to contribute to and thrive within a team environment. A positive attitude and high energy level. Please note that this is a relationship-focused, consultative sales position. Retail-only and telemarketing experience will not qualify as relevant inside sales experience. Schedule and Benefits This is a full-time hybrid position offering: Health benefits 401(k) Paid time off Holiday pay Performance-based incentives Additional benefits The position will begin with onsite training. Following approximately 30 to 60 days of successful training and demonstrated performance , employees may become eligible for up to two flexible remote-workdays per week . Hours are primarily daytime, Monday through Friday. However, occasional Saturdays—potentially up to two per month—may be required. Candidates must have some flexibility to work weekends based on business needs.
