Duties Engage with customers inside the showroom and through outside sales efforts to understand their needs and recommend tailored design solutions. Conduct detailed layout design and lighting consultations using SketchUp, CAD, or other technical tools to visualize client projects effectively. Demonstrate product features through engaging demos, upselling complementary items such as fixtures, lighting, and remodeling materials to maximize sales opportunities. Build strong customer relationships by providing expert advice on renovation, remodeling, fixture sales, and maintenance services. Manage client communication throughout the sales process, from initial consultation to deal closing, ensuring a seamless experience. Utilize CRM systems and POS tools to track leads, process transactions accurately, and maintain organized client records. Assist with merchandising and stock management to ensure product availability aligns with customer demand and store presentation standards. Requirements Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or construction-related sales environments. Strong technical skills including proficiency in SketchUp, CAD software, Microsoft Office suite, and lighting design tools. Excellent negotiation abilities with a track record of closing high-end deals confidently. Knowledge of renovation, remodeling processes, construction materials, fixture sales, and maintenance services. Multilingual skills are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—to foster positive client relationships. Organizational skills that enable multitasking across product demos, client meetings, and stock management. Basic math skills for estimating project costs and handling retail math calculations accurately.
