Kelly Spicers is seeking a highly organized and data-minded Sales Operations Coordinator to support our Packaging Sales team. In this role, you will help keep sales initiatives, customer information, reporting, and cross-functional projects organized and moving forward. You will prepare sales presentations and reports, maintain accurate customer and account data, coordinate meetings and customer activities, track action items, and provide day-to-day operational support to the Packaging team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to support a successful sales organization. The ideal candidate is comfortable using Excel and PowerPoint, enjoys working with business data, and can manage multiple projects and priorities with accuracy and follow-through. Important Location Information This position is temporarily located in Santa Fe Springs, California . The role will transition to its permanent location in City of Industry, California, within the coming months . Candidates must be able to work at the Santa Fe Springs location initially and transition to the City of Industry location when the move occurs.
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00
PM Work Arrangement:
Hybrid schedule with three in-office days per week and two remote days per week. What You'll Do Sales Support and Coordination Support the Packaging Sales team with customer presentations, sales materials, reports, and administrative requests. Coordinate sales meetings, supplier meetings, customer events, and internal business activities. Assist with customer onboarding activities and coordinate customer welcome kits. Maintain organized sales resources, promotional materials, business documents, and reference information. Track project timelines, action items, and follow-up activities to help ensure projects are completed successfully. Coordinate communication among Sales, Customer Service, Operations, leadership, and supplier partners. Reporting and CRM Support Prepare recurring sales reports, dashboards, and business summaries using Phocas and other company systems. Maintain accurate customer and account information in Phocas. Assist with sales pipeline tracking, account updates, and data-accuracy initiatives. Review sales information to identify trends, customer activity, and opportunities requiring follow-up. Create Excel spreadsheets, charts, and summaries to support business planning and decision-making. Respond to reporting requests from Packaging leadership and Sales team members. Presentations and Sales Materials Create and update PowerPoint presentations, sales collateral, product sheets, and other customer-facing materials. Gather and organize information needed for customer presentations and supplier initiatives. Help coordinate materials and activities for sales meetings, trade shows, supplier events, and customer programs. Maintain shared presentations, sales resources, and business materials so they are accurate, organized, and readily available. Project and Administrative Support Coordinate multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines. Schedule meetings and maintain project calendars as needed. Organize shared files, presentations, sales materials, and reference documents. Support special projects, process improvements, and departmental initiatives. Follow up with internal and external partners to help keep projects on schedule. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience supporting sales, customer service, business operations, or a related function. Experience coordinating projects, meetings, or business initiatives. Experience creating presentations and professional business documents. Experience using CRM software or customer databases. Experience working with business reports, performance metrics, or sales data. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and reporting. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Ability to review information and identify meaningful business trends. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with different departments. Preferred Qualifications Associate or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Experience supporting a business-to-business sales organization. Experience in packaging, paper, distribution, manufacturing, or a related industry. Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform. Experience using Phocas or comparable business intelligence and reporting software. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. You May Be a
