CSI was a pioneer in the bed loft rental business for students living in traditional residence halls on college campuses. In 2004, the company moved to Champaign, Illinois. At that time the Bedloft brand was launched to enhance the connection between our primary product line and our market. Bedloft has been an innovator and leader in the business of providing product sales and rentals to students living in on campus housing at colleges and universities nationwide. Bedloft has experienced rapid growth since 2004, increasing revenue by almost 400% while also vastly increasing the geographic market we served. We currently partner exclusively with over 70 schools from Minnesota to Florida. Our current products and services include bed lofting services, refrigerator rentals, and appliance financing for colleges and universities. In 2016, Bedloft became the exclusive national distributor of EcoMax Multiliance products the academic market. Ecomax Multipliance products are designed to provide industry leading efficiency and quality matched with affordable pricing. Currently, Bedloft serves over 25,000 customers at universities across the United States. Sales Representative Description Are you looking for a challenging and yet rewarding career? Working with Bedloft you will assist with growing the company across the country with uncapped rewards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing contact with potential customers, identifying opportunities, and strong follow through skills. This position can be based in any favorable location in the Midwest United States. Maintain a positive professional attitude and demeanor when dealing with all customers and coworkers Have very high integrity, ethical, and moral standards, which are evident in your work and working relationships Ability to be highly organized and actively use company provided sales process systems Approach work with a team first mentality Expect success for yourself and the company Ability to recognize and meet project deadlines Ability to take broad directives, create a specific plan of action to achieve these directives, and work the complete that plan without constant supervision Willing to make cold call contacts to introduce our company and services, both virtually and in person Assist with spring and fall on campus operations Travel to sales calls and trade shows; including overnight Position Duties The primary duties of the Sales Representative position is to identify opportunities and successfully make initial contact for new sales at higher education institutions across the Midwest, followed by structured follow up and introduction of Bedloft team members to assess campus requirements and assist with closing new sales. Successful performance in this role will involve: Identifying opportunities for growth colleges and universities in the Midwest Building genuine relationships with potential clients Introducing the company and our services to prospects Appropriately following up to secure initial calls with decision makers and subsequent needs assessment meetings including their team and ours Participation in negotiations proposals and bid process to secure contracts Face to face introduction and sales calls on campuses in assigned territory Engaging new clients in a lasting partnership Assist with sales and marketing planning and strategies Actively participate in trade shows assigned by management Supporting the operations efforts at select schools during essential operations seasons Other responsibilities as assigned Travel Travel and overnights will be required with the position Reporting This position reports to the company Director of Sales Compensation This position is a full time position that will include a salary based on experience plus incentives for achievement of specific foals in our sales process and commission.
