This position will focus heavily on building relationships throughout the hockey community while also expanding Hero Collectibles into additional sports, including baseball and other team sports. The Sales Associate will be responsible for identifying new customers, developing relationships, generating sales opportunities, and helping organizations and individual customers create custom products designed specifically for their team, program, event, or brand. Key Responsibilities Prospect and sell Hero Collectibles products to hockey rinks, youth hockey organizations, high school and college programs, hockey academies, tournaments, pro shops, camps, and teams. Build relationships with rink owners, program directors, coaches, team managers, tournament operators, booster clubs, and other decision-makers. Sell custom mini hockey sticks and other personalized products to teams, organizations, businesses, events, and individual customers. Develop new opportunities outside of hockey, including baseball teams, baseball facilities, tournaments, schools, sports organizations, and other athletic programs. Help customers create custom products featuring team logos, colors, player names, numbers, sponsors, event branding, and other personalized designs. Generate new business through outbound sales, referrals, existing relationships, social media leads, events, tournaments, and direct outreach. Follow up consistently with prospective customers and manage opportunities from initial contact through completed order. Work with the design and production teams to ensure customer specifications and custom orders are communicated accurately. Identify opportunities for larger team, league, tournament, rink, and organizational orders. Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to generate repeat business, referrals, and additional product opportunities. Represent Hero Collectibles professionally at hockey tournaments, showcases, sporting events, trade shows, and other industry events when needed. Stay informed about new Hero Collectibles products and creatively identify new markets and organizations where those products can be sold. Meet and exceed individual sales goals while contributing to the overall growth of Hero Collectibles. What We're Looking For Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Comfortable reaching out to new customers and developing business from the ground up. Competitive, motivated, and goal-oriented personality. Ability to follow up consistently and move potential customers through the sales process. Interest in hockey, baseball, sports, collectibles, custom merchandise, or team sales strongly preferred. Hockey or sports industry relationships are a major plus. Previous sales, business development, sporting goods, fundraising, team apparel, promotional products, or account management experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate. Ability to work independently while also collaborating with the Hero Collectibles team. Organized and capable of managing multiple customers, quotes, custom projects, and follow-ups simultaneously.
