Job Description
Sales Representative - Dynamic & Multi-Faceted Role - Job Overview We are a growing company looking for a driven, experienced, and well-rounded Sales Representative to join our small but mighty team. This is not your typical sales role — we need someone who brings strategic thinking, financial savvy, strong technical skills, and proven sales experience while building and maintaining strong customer relationships. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy wearing multiple hats, and are as comfortable digging into data as you are developing relationships and closing deals, we want to hear from you! This is a full-time, in-person position. Remote work is not available for this role. Key Responsibilities Drive sales growth by identifying, developing, and managing customer accounts Build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities for new and expanded business Collaborate closely with production planning to ensure customer needs align with operational capabilities and timelines Analyze sales data to identify trends, growth opportunities, and areas for improvement Communicate proactively and transparently with internal teams and customers — strong communication is essential to our success Support cross-functional responsibilities beyond traditional sales duties as needed in a small office environment Problem-solve creatively to meet customer demands while balancing internal resources and business objectives Participate in customer meetings, industry events, and other business activities requiring travel Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university 6+ years of professional sales experience Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain customer relationships and grow sales Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to interpret data and use it to make informed business decisions Solid financial acumen , including an understanding of margins, pricing, profitability, and P&L concepts Proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis Experience with Power BI or the ability and willingness to learn quickly Exceptional written and verbal communication skills , with a proactive approach to communication Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced, small-office environment Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills Ability and willingness to travel as required Preferred Qualifications Experience in the produce or food industry is a plus, but not required Familiarity with production planning or supply chain concepts Experience working in a small-business environment Knowledge of ERP or inventory management systems What We Offer Competitive salary Collaborative and supportive team environment Opportunity to take ownership of customer relationships and contribute directly to the company's growth A diverse role with exposure to multiple areas of the business
