  • Full-time We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Roofing Sales Representative to join our growing team.
As a Roofing Salesman, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and selling roofing solutions to residential and commercial clients. You will play a key role in driving the growth of the company through effective sales strategies, customer service, and product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation:
Identify and prospect new clients through a combination of cold calling, networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives.
Sales Presentations:
Conduct on-site evaluations and present roofing solutions to potential clients, explaining the benefits and features of the products and services offered.
Quote & Proposal Creation:
Prepare detailed and accurate estimates, proposals, and contracts based on client requirements and the scope of the roofing project.
Negotiation & Closing:
Effectively negotiate terms, pricing, and timelines, ensuring that the deal is mutually beneficial and that clients understand the scope of work.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
Product Knowledge:
Stay updated on the latest roofing products, industry trends, and techniques to effectively advise customers and provide solutions that meet their needs.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the project management and operations teams to ensure smooth project handoffs, from the sale to completion.
Sales Reporting:
Track and report sales activities, pipeline progress, and achieved targets regularly to management.
Customer Service:
Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the entire sales process.
Qualifications:
Experience:
2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the roofing, construction, or home improvement industries. Experience in B2B or B2C sales is a plus.
Sales Skills:
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, excellent negotiation skills, and ability to close deals.
Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate technical information to non-technical clients.
Customer Focus:
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
Self-Motivated:
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
Technical Knowledge:
Basic understanding of roofing systems, materials, and industry practices is preferred but not required (training will be provided).
Licensing/Certifications:
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Roofing-related certifications or licenses are a plus.
