Flavors & Fragrances / Specialty Ingredients About the Role We are looking for a results-driven Sales Representative to manage and grow a commercial territory with a primary focus on the Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston metropolitan areas, extending across the broader South-Central United States. This individual will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with customers in the food & beverage, personal care, and home care industries, offering tailored solutions in flavors, fragrances, and specialty additives. While the core activity will be concentrated in Dallas and Houston — two of the most dynamic industrial hubs in the country — the territory is not limited to these cities. The right candidate will have the flexibility and ambition to pursue business opportunities across adjacent markets in Texas and neighboring states, expanding the company's commercial footprint wherever the opportunity exists. The ideal candidate combines solid technical knowledge of flavor systems, fragrance compounds, or functional additives with strong commercial instincts, and is passionate about building long-term partnerships across multiple end-use segments. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow an assigned sales territory centered on Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston, with coverage extending across the South-Central U.S. as opportunities arise. Identify and develop new business opportunities within food & beverage, home care, and personal care segments. Present and promote flavor ingredients, fragrance compounds, and functional additives to technical and purchasing decision-makers. Collaborate with internal application labs and product development teams to deliver customized solutions. Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals aligned with margin and revenue targets. Track pipeline activity and account performance using CRM tools; report progress against quota regularly. Represent the company at industry trade shows and technical events (e.g., IFT, SCC, NYSCC). Provide market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer needs. Requirements Experience Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in one or more of the following: Food additives, flavorings, or food ingredients Fragrance compounds or aroma chemicals Home care, personal care, or household product additives Education & Technical Knowledge Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (preferred, not required with equivalent experience). Familiarity with flavor application processes, fragrance formulation principles, or functional additive performance. Ability to communicate technical product benefits to both R&D/technical and commercial audiences. Commercial & Soft Skills Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a competitive B2B environment. Strong hunter mentality — ability to identify and convert new accounts, not just manage existing business. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently within a large geographic territory. Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce or equivalent) and MS Office / Google Workspace. Location & Travel Preferred residence in the Dallas-Fort Worth or Houston metro areas. Candidates located elsewhere in Texas or the South-Central U.S. with strong proximity to the core territory will also be considered. Primary commercial focus on Dallas and Houston; however, the territory is open and not geographically limited — candidates with reach into broader Texas markets or neighboring states are encouraged to apply. Willingness to travel within the territory approximately 50-60% of the time, with occasional national travel for company meetings or industry events. Valid U.S. driver's license required.
