Job Description
1-Manage a sales territory by calling on established plumbing, heating & cooling, institutional and municipal customers on a regular basis. The territory extends from Norton, KS (on the Northeast) to La Crosse, KS (on the Southeast) to Tribune, KS (on the Southwest) to St. Francis, KS (on the Northwest); excluding Hays, KS. 2-Cold call on potential new plumbing, heating & cooling, institutional and municipal customers. 3-Develop relationships with customer personnel in an effort to expand customer trust and consultative selling. 4-Develop a broad knowledge of plumbing, HVAC and waterworks material. 5-Quote prices on stock and special order items as needed. 6-Enter orders, check product prices and availability via a computer tablet. 7-Make deliveries to customers as needed. 8-Coordinate with inside salespeople to negotiate customer pricing and follow up on quoted projects. 9-Perform other such duties as may be assigned.
