This role is responsible for managing customer accounts, generating new business opportunities, coordinating packaging projects, and ensuring customer satisfaction from initial inquiry through production and delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, packaging, manufacturing, or customer service and possess strong communication and relationship-building skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage existing customer accounts and identify opportunities for account growth. Develop new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry contacts. Prepare quotations, pricing proposals, and sales presentations. Work with customers to determine packaging requirements and recommend solutions. Coordinate projects with Production, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Quality departments. Monitor customer orders, inventory requirements, and delivery schedules. Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, product information, and issue resolution. Follow up on quotations and sales leads to secure new business. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities. Participate in customer visits, trade shows, and industry events as required. Monitor market trends, competitive products, and customer needs. Meet or exceed established sales and account growth objectives. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred. 2+ years of sales, account management, customer service, or packaging/manufacturing experience preferred. Knowledge of packaging materials, retail packaging, paperboard products, displays, or converting processes is a plus. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to manage multiple projects and customer requests simultaneously. Self-motivated with a strong desire to build customer relationships and drive sales growth. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods. Occasional lifting of product samples up to 25 pounds. Ability to travel for customer visits, meetings, and trade shows as needed.
