Banquet Sales Coordinator Quidnessett Country Club - North Kingstown, Rhode Island Join Our Team! Quidnessett Country Club, one of Rhode Island's premier private country clubs, is seeking an energetic, organized, and customer-focused Banquet Sales Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a vital role in creating exceptional experiences for weddings, corporate events, golf tournaments, social gatherings, and member functions. Position Summary The Banquet Sales Coordinator is responsible for generating banquet sales while coordinating all aspects of private events from initial inquiry through successful execution. This individual will work closely with clients, the Executive Chef, Food & Beverage team, and club management to ensure every event exceeds expectations. Essential Responsibilities Respond promptly to banquet and event inquiries Conduct club tours for prospective clients Develop proposals, banquet event orders (BEOs), contracts, and event timelines Coordinate weddings, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, corporate meetings, golf outings, holiday parties, and social events Build and maintain strong relationships with members, guests, vendors, and community organizations Assist in achieving annual banquet revenue goals Coordinate menu selections with clients and culinary staff Ensure accurate event details are communicated to all departments Attend planning meetings and pre-event briefings Oversee event setup and execution to ensure client satisfaction Maintain accurate records using event management software Participate in bridal shows, networking events, and marketing initiatives Follow up with clients after events to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of banquet sales, catering sales, hospitality, hotel, country club, or event planning experience preferred Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills Strong sales and relationship-building abilities Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all departments Schedule Requirements This position requires flexibility and availability to work: Evenings Weekends Holidays Special events Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Performance-based bonus opportunities Paid Time Off Health insurance benefits (where applicable) Employee meals during scheduled shifts Opportunities for professional growth within our hospitality organization Why Quidnessett Country Club?
