The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new and existing customers within various industries. This person will be required to have regular phone and email contact with customers via inbound and outbound calling and follow-ups. He/She will have sales revenue targets to maintain while building strong relationships with customers and internal cross functional departments. Responsibilities for a
Sales Representative:
Receive in-bound calls to assist new and existing customers to develop accounts and build relationships. Initiate contact with potential customers and introduce products or services to address their needs and concerns to encourage repeat and obtain new business. Understand products and services that are available for purchase and be able to explain product features and benefits to customers. Demonstrate ability to identify customer needs, handle objections and close sales effectively. Generate and close customer quotes and follow up on open quotes to manage sales pipeline effectively. Qualify and nurture sales leads by contacting potential new customers by email, phone etc. Re-engage with existing customers to re-establish the business relationship and introduce new or existing products that are available for purchase. Maintain CRM, by creating new accounts, inputting contact information, and making account changes as needed. Exceed expectations by meeting required sales activities and defined revenue targets. Versatility to sell and connect with various customer types, across varied industries. Collaborate with Inside Sales and Account Managers when handing off qualified sales leads. Work with Applications, Sales team, Tech, Marketing, logistics, managers, and Accounting to ensure the highest quality customer service to ensure all customers' needs are met. Skills & Qualifications for a
Inside Sales Representative:
Bachelor's Degree in a science related field, chemistry preferred. At least 0-3 years working within a sales environment, preferably in a proactive outbound B2B sales or business development role. Candidate must possess relevant sales experience and have a proven track-record in telemarketing /inside sales role. Ability to work independently and as a team player. Candidate must be proactive, tenacious, self-motivated and driven to succeed. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and orally. Intermediate computer user including working knowledge of Microsoft Suite. CRM experience preferred. Quick learner with technology required.
