Outside Sales Representative Job Duties Develop new business through prospecting, networking, cold calling, and relationship building. Outside Sales Representative Experience Requirements 3+ years of successful outside B2B sales experience in industrial manufacturing, machine tooling, metalworking, capital equipment, or a related industry. Experience selling technical products, tooling, equipment, or manufacturing solutions. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand manufacturing processes and equipment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Experience working with automotive, aerospace, fastener, metal forming, or industrial manufacturing customers is strongly preferred.
