Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Roofing Sales Representative (1099) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind expanding our customer base and delivering exceptional service in the roofing industry. Your enthusiasm for sales, combined with your technical knowledge and management skills, will help you build lasting relationships with clients and grow our market presence. Duties Engage in proactive outside sales efforts to identify new business opportunities within assigned territories. Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations and presentations to educate clients about roofing solutions. Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and strategic marketing initiatives to expand the customer base. Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service, addressing concerns, and upselling additional services or products. Develop and execute territory management strategies to maximize sales potential across designated regions. Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track prospects, follow-ups, and sales pipeline activities efficiently. Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that foster long-term relationships. Collaborate with marketing teams to implement targeted campaigns that boost brand awareness and lead generation efforts. Conduct technical sales consultations, including product demos and analysis of client needs to recommend suitable roofing solutions. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and territory insights for ongoing analysis and improvement. Experience Proven experience in outside sales, D2D sales, or technical sales within the construction or roofing industry preferred. Demonstrated success in managing territories and developing new business opportunities through lead generation and cold calling. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals effectively while maintaining excellent customer relationships. Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or other CRM tools for managing sales pipelines and customer data. Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver compelling product demos and technical presentations. Experience in account management, upselling, and customer service within a fast-paced sales environment. Knowledge of roofing products, installation processes, and industry standards is a plus but not mandatory—training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop strategic plans for territory expansion.
