Job Description

Furniture Sales Specialist - Greenville Herald Office is expanding our commercial furniture division and seeking a driven, customer-focused Furniture Sales Specialist to support and grow our presence in the surrounding areas of Greenville,SC. We are open to strong candidates anywhere in the region with easy access to major customer areas. This role centers on relationship-building, generating new business opportunities, and guiding customers through the full furniture project lifecycle — supported by experienced design, operations, and installation teams. Responsibilities Territory Development Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout South Carolina in corporate, commercial, healthcare, government, and education sectors. Build a strong pipeline and execute strategies for consistent growth. Relationship Building Develop meaningful, trust-based relationships with decision-makers, designers, purchasing teams, and facilities leaders. Act as a knowledgeable and reliable partner in workspace planning. Product & Solution Expertise Build expertise across our commercial furniture offerings including workstations, private offices, collaborative spaces, seating, training environments, and conference rooms. Present compelling solutions tailored to customer needs. Consultative Selling Use a thoughtful, solutions-oriented approach to guide customers through space planning, budgeting, product selection, and project coordination. Customer Retention & Support Ensure exceptional service by maintaining strong communication with existing accounts and supporting them throughout every stage of their project. Market Awareness Maintain up-to-date knowledge of furniture trends, workplace design shifts, competitive products, and manufacturer programs to support effective sales strategies. Requirements Minimum 2 years of sales experience (commercial furniture or related field preferred) Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Proven ability to manage a pipeline and meet sales goals Ability to coordinate with design teams, installation teams, and manufacturer reps Willingness to travel throughout South Carolina Highly self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Compensation First-Year Earnings Range:
$55,000 - $100,000+ Range set based on qualifications and time in the market
Commission:
