Job Description

Interstate All Battery Center meets the increasing need for battery power in both retail and commercial markets. We are a rapidly growing, nationally recognized, award-winning operation that puts our people first. Looking for organized, friendly, outgoing individuals to fit our upbeat customer service driven culture.
Sales Associate Responsibilities :
Develop new commercial business relationships through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and in-person sales visits. Identify and pursue opportunities with automotive, agricultural, industrial, medical, educational, electrical, municipal, and other commercial customers. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing commercial accounts to ensure exceptional customer service and continued growth. Prepare quotes, follow up on sales opportunities, and work to increase account penetration and profitability. Represent Interstate All Battery Center professionally in the marketplace while promoting our products, services, and brand. Assist retail customers with product selection, battery testing, and sales transactions as needed. Support day-to-day store operations including inventory management, merchandising, warehouse organization, and general housekeeping. Assist with deliveries and customer service activities when needed to support the team and our customers. Collaborate with team members to manage key commercial accounts and ensure customers receive timely, accurate service. Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, and follow-up schedules. Stay informed on products, applications, and industry trends to better serve customers and identify opportunities. Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help wherever needed. Participate in recycling activities such as receiving and processing spent batteries Warehouse tasks as needed such as loading and unloading trucks, forklift driving, sorting shipments, processing orders, etc.
Sales Associate Qualifications :
Outgoing, friendly personality with strong relationship-building skills. Self-motivated individual who enjoys meeting new people and creating new business opportunities. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Positive attitude and a team-first mindset. Ability to work independently while remaining accountable to team goals. Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through. Comfortable making sales calls, conducting customer visits, and asking for business. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Sales experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with the right attitude and work ethic.

Base salary: $50,000
