This role is ideal for someone hungry to make an impact in a fast-paced, execution-focused logistics company that pairs a growing brokerage with 100+ company-owned trucks. You'll be stepping into a live seat with lanes, systems, and shipper volume ready to move. The role also comes with a career path: our goal is to train this individual, and eventually scale them into their own carrier team with tracking support.
What You'll Be Doing:
Source and Cover Freight:
Match freight to qualified carriers daily across a growing book of retail, expedited, and dry van lanes.
Build Carrier Relationships:
Identify and onboard reliable carriers. Develop repeat relationships that reduce cost and increase execution.
Negotiate Rates:
Secure market-aligned pricing that protects margin and enhances service.
Manage Load Flow:
Own the cradle-to-grave process: posting, booking, confirming, updating, and problem-solving across active loads.
Support Quality:
Ensure loads are covered with compliant carriers who meet GH's operational and safety standards.
Collaborate Cross-Team:
Work closely with Angel and our leadership team to improve coverage speed, margin protection, and lane development.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
1-3 years in freight brokerage or carrier sales Strong phone presence, negotiation chops, and CRM/TMS familiarity Experience booking dry van, reefer, team, or mail freight preferred Thrives under pressure, communicates clearly, and follows through Motivated by earning , performance, and ownership Interested in growing into a team lead role under Angel's mentorship
